Who is eligible for an Ethiopia e-Visa?

Currently, citizens of 251 countries can use the Ethiopia electronic visa system which means they can apply for an Ethiopia visa online. This visa is issued for tourism, or other non-business-related purposes and allows its holders to stay in Ethiopia for a specified period of time.

There are two types of Ethiopia electronic visas available to eligible applicants: Tourist eVisa single entry 30 days and 90 days. Travelers should follow the instructions to complete the application form for an Ethiopia eVisa:

• Step 1: Fill in the application form online at the Ethiopia Immigration Services website with some information: number of visas, type of visa, processing time, full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, date of arrival and departure.
• Step 2: Review all the information before paying the visa fees. This step is crucial because it will affect the visa processing time. Applicants can use one of the electronic payment methods (Debit, Credit Card, PayPal, or American Express), or wire transfer to the Bank of Cyprus to make the payment for the eVisa fees. • Step 3: Receive the eVisa via email. Under normal circumstances, the processing time for an Ethiopian tourist eVisa is 03 business days.
