Do Egyptian childrens need an e-visa for Ethiopia?
Yes, every Egyptian traveler intending to visit Ethiopia must have an e-visa before entering this country including childrens. The Ethiopian government has allowed the online system for registering e-visa to have the chance to explore this country since 2018. The Egyptian childrens under 18 age who have their own passport can apply for an e-visa easily through an online portal at Ethiopian Immigration Services.
Egyptian parents must make sure that their child's passport is still valid at least 6 months before filling out an Ethiopian e-visa application. Remember to check the passport has more than two blank pages for exit and entry stamping at the airport's border control. For kids, all e-visa documentation requirements are the same as for adults. Therefore, Egyptian parents are required to submit a color digital photo of their children.
Throughout the process, Egyptian parents will complete the form for their children. The form requires the correct information of their child including full name, gender, D.O.B, nationalities and passport information. Every child must have their own passport and do not use the same one for them. Children who have dual nationalities must use the same passport number like the one that you use when applying.
